You can do it through an online stockbroker (which is the cheapest and easiest option) like TD Waterhouse. You could also do it through your bank if they have a share-dealing service although that will probably be more expensive. If you have a tracker fund then that will 'track' a whole range of companies, not just one, so you can't mix the two types of investing.
