This fantastic gift set is perfect for pampering on the move. Full of gorgeous items that are small enough to take on a plane, there’s a beautifully scented body lotion, wash, scrub and foam, all contained in a cute case. It retails on the Sanctuary site at over £10, but Boots are offering it for just £6!

 4. Ted Baker It’s a small world mini hat-box gift set – £10

This miniature gift set is ideal for anyone going away this Christmas. It contains pocket-sized  body scrubs, lotions and sprays have a delicate scent of bergamot, patchouli and red fruit designed to keep you feeling (and smelling) sensational! Available from Boots.

Make your own beauty gift set

Do you want to add something more personal to a gift set or think you can save more money? Have a go at making your own with these tips.

• Buy small wicker baskets from places like Wilkinson and Poundland to create your gift set. You can then decorate these baskets with things like tinsel, ribbons and cellophane to create a more Christmassy look and add personal style. You could even decorate it with real holly and ivy if you’ve got any near you!
• Set a theme such as bath goodies or make up. Running a theme for the gift set makes it look like you have put more of an effort into it and, who knows – they might even believe it’s shop-bought. Shops like Poundland and Boots’ own Natural Collection make cheap but attractive cosmetics which you could use to make sure your gift set looks up to scratch.
• Add some more treats. Make your gift set even more personal, beautiful or Christmas-y by adding little extras such as chocolate coins or the person receiving the gift’s favourite sweets – just to give that extra special touch. It will look like you’ve put more effort into the gift-set and you’ll get double brownie points mixing chocolate with beauty!
