I am no longer a woman with a bump! On Friday 23 January at 3.48pm my daughter Imogen was born!
Needless to say we are all happy and healthly but as I was 12 days overdue there were some complications. Everything is okay, but I will now have to rest for three weeks and as a result I am not going to update my blog until later next week.
I would like to thank all the midwives (especially Hannah, Lucy and Michelle – on whose shift(s) I was in labour), midwifery staff and doctors, incluyding my anesthetists, Lucy and Liz, at the Rose Maternity Hospital (Addenbrookes) Cambridge . It just goes to show the NHS is brilliant after all!.
