As you can probably tell, I'm rather annoyed at marbles and their antics this year. If we didn't have this ridiculous amount to pay every month we could actually break even with our finances, so, I wonder if anyone can tell me what would happen (live in Scotland) if we simply stopped paying them? Have heard of CCJ's but don't know what they actually are, the repurcussions ( obviously blacklisted for a period of time I imagine, but let's face it, that can only be a good thing!) Have asked marbles to reduce our payments, but they point blank refused, and a couple of weeks later we received a phone call from loans.co.uk, saying they had got our details from marbles and tried to offer a consolidation loan- felt really good telling them the experts think that would be a bad idea!!! Salesman was well miffed -but talk about the vultures hovering for goodness sake -however any advice would be appreciated -thanks in advance

Were your loans properly documented ?

Check out www.ruinedbynatwest.com  - you may well have an "improperly executed agreement"  as defined by the Consumer Credit Act (1974) , in which case you have a perfect defence to any claim under that Act  - check it out with your local CAB, quoting Section 18 [Multiple Agreements] or contact us via the email address quoted at the end of the above site.

We understand the pressure that you're under.

Best Wishes
