The Utility Warehouse has just announced a unique 5% cashback Mastercard debitcard, where members of The Utility Warehouse Discount Club can get a 5% cashback on their food and fuel purchases at Sainsbury's, plus 5% cashback on their purchases at over 25 other main high-street retailers. The unique aspects of this card is that the cashback deal is not an introductory offer and that the cashback is paid as a discount on your utility bills. The catch therefore is that you must be a Utility Warehouse Discount Club member for at least one of your utility services i.e. your gas, electricity, telephone, mobile or broadband...but when you consider that Which? magazine has just found The Utility Warehouse to be the UK's best energy provider on the strength of customer service and value for money...this just gets better and better. This deal could well be a 'credit crunch saving' deal and especially when you consider that the Utility Warehouse even offers a customer discount scheme where for each customer referred, you receive an ongoing monthly discount on your own bills. In theory, if you were to refer enough customers, you could get free gas, electricity, telephone, broadband and mobile...that's got to be a saving worth talking about!
