I have deposits with both Banks and now have funds in excess of £35K with the Santander Group. My question is will the licence granted by the FSA to Bradford and Bingley be lapsed. If it is then I will have to seek a new home for the Bradford and Bingley monies.

Please can you give me an answer. 

Currently Santander have agreed to keep their brands separate (like Abbey is doing with Alliance and Leicester) so that's the current situation. Of course it could change, not to mention the limit from tomorrow will be £50K, so that will also help.
