Exclamation     Re-Mortgaging after having a 'together mortgage' with NR
Dotted Line

Hi

we really need some help, our fixed rate with northern rock is coming to an end and i think we are going to have some difficulty finding another mortgage!!

Our balance with northern rock is currently £94500, our house was last valued about a year and a half ago at £105000, but more than likely this will have dropped in value!! we are wanting another fixed rate but i just dont think anyone is going to be able to help us!

I havent spoken to northern rock as yet, i will contact them on my day off from work but i just have a bad feeling about the whole thing and really hope we can get somewhere.

A little more about our situation: its a joint mortgage with my hubby, our earnings before tax are £12000 and £14500, we both work full time, have no children. we currently pay around £580 a month and although have 'managed' for the last year with this is has been a struggle and dont want our payment to go up anymore, our fixed rate is at 6.49%.

is there anything anyone can suggest? or anyone been in a similar situation and its been ok?? please!

thanks, any help/advice is much much appreciated!
