About becoming a Boots Product Tester
Home user studies
These studies involve you testing products at home and completing online feedback questionnaires.
Boots send out approximately 30,000 samples a year to test with real people in the real world. You will be asked to use the sample in place of your normal product and tell them what you think. There are no right or wrong answers, just your honest opinion.
Controlled on-site studies
These studies are carried out in the Boots Evaluation Centre, located in Beeston, Nottingham.
By controlling the temperature and humidity they can carry out standardised tests. Most of these studies involve testing products but they also conduct research to help them understand and measure different aspects of the skin, eye lashes etc to help to develop new assessment methods and new products.
A note from Boots
If you join our panel there is no obligation to take part in any study but we hope that you will!
There is also no guarantee that you will be offered a place on a study because volunteers are recruited for studies on a case by case basis depending on recruitment criteria.
Restricted registration is open. Criteria are in place to help us build a balanced panel. If you are not accepted please try again Dec 2018 when we will refresh the panel
