By ‘Truly Washable’ they mean you can put these in the washing machine several times and they won’t go all lumpy and useless after a wash or two.
These are the sort of things that are great for students and anyone who has guests round a lot. If you’re running a B&B operation or doing Airbnb then you will feel the need to wash all your bedlinen regularly. With a lot of soft furnishings and bed accessories, this isn’t really possible.
However, these are different. You actually can wash them and still have a comfortable night’s sleep. In fact the pillows are surprisingly soft (often pillows with this kind of filling are hard and bouncy).
The cover is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The inside is made from 100% hollowfibre.
A lot of pillows and duvets claim to be washable but they often come out of the washing machine lumpy and disappointing.
We’ve only tried one wash but we were pretty impressed by the result. They quickly turned back to their original shape and the texture seemed fine.
