Hello ,
How are you doing?
Seriously, are you managing all right?
I ask because we know from messages we are getting here at MoneyMagpie and the emails I get through my Daily Mail column, that people are worried. It's understandable but I want you to know that we're all going to get through the tough time ahead.
For a start, do know that we're here for you...and I'm not just saying that. Honestly the whole team is constantly looking for ways to help. They're looking for ways that you can get grants, ways for you to make money and ways to save it day-to-day.
In fact, if you have any clever wheezes you've come up with lately that could help others save, do let us know! We're keen to spread the word!

Oh, and you might be interested in the results of a survey we did of our Instagram followers which found - not surprisingly - that they feel the government should do more to help us in the current cost-of-living crisis. Yes they should. In fact, I'm working on some ideas
to offer them to help them do that. Watch this space! So there is lots of help around...there really is...and there's also help you can get from friends, family, neighbours and the wider community...and of course help you can give. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: the only way we will all get through this successfully and healthily is if we support
each other. On our own we're going to struggle but getting together, sharing and giving to each other...doing that we will survive. And finally, on a happy note...wasn't the football result fantastic!....Go Lionesses! At last we can feel proud of our nation's football performance. Thank you girls :-) |

Tally - offering an alternative to banks
|
Did you know when you put your money into the bank you are actually 'lending' it to them?
Why else do you think they pay you interest?
But if everyone tried to get their money out of their accounts today... there wouldn't be enough.
That's why we've recently begun partnering with Tally, a bank challenger, who offer an alternative currency backed by physical gold that you own.
Because whilst the value of gold fluctuates (up and down) relative to pounds, historically it has always increased in value in the long term.

Any estate agent willing to deliver you the best service, without the huge price tag, is a definite game-changer and there’s a reason Strike have won the Online Estate Agent of the Year for two years running: they sell homes faster than any other top agent in the UK — and they sell for an average of £6,800 more.
