    Remember to test on a small patch of your skin first, to ensure there is no adverse reaction. Keep well away from your eyes, too. (And no, don’t eat the leftovers!).

    For more advanced face mask recipes, you can add ingredients like specialist clay to add a thicker consistency and draw impurities from the skin. Using clay will elevate your homemade face mask to spa-level luxury.

    Try this recipe for a luxe face mask that takes just a few minutes to make and offers a calming, soothing, and hydrating experience for your skin.

    Gather these ingredients:

    Bentonite Clay 10g

    French Green Clay 5g

    Argan Oil 2g

    Honey 2g

    Water 10g

    1. Weigh the clays in a separate bowl from the rest of the ingredients. Try to be accurate with the weights, as it will ensure your mask is the best consistency.

    2. Then add the clay to the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Make sure there are no lumps.

    3. Then: apply! Avoid the lip and eye area, as the skin is more sensitive in these areas.

    You can keep the mask in the fridge for a day or two, but it’s recommended to let it come back to room temperature before you apply.

    Leave it for 20 minutes while you relax, then rinse off with warm water. Use once a week for a real treat that results in glowing, fresh skin!
