Staff Magpies

Hellooo!

Thanks for dropping by 🙂

We’re the MoneyMagpies (do you like our pictures above??).

Meet the team

Magpie Jasmine

So, look at our wonderful and very true-to-life portraits above and slap-bang in the middle is Jasmine Birtles, our beloved leader, founder, cake-monster and, oh yes, TV financial commentator and journalist.

Magpie Marc

On her right is Marc Crosby: he who must be obeyed, Editorial Publisher of the site and all its manifestations and the one you have to be nice to if you want anything done on MoneyMagpie.com!

Magpie Kee

On the far left is Kee, our fab designer and all things IT on MoneyMagpie. The original Magpie and beautiful website were all designed by her.

Magpie Fabian

The one on the far right is Fabian Broeker who is our Campaign Manager. Fabian runs the Clear Your Clutter Campaign, as well as our new, rather wonderful, Magpie Money (where you can win points just by browsing the site and turn them into ÂŁ5 Amazon vouchers) and the Freebies newsletter (check it out, it’s full of good stuff).

a bit of background

MoneyMagpie is the UK’s leading self-help money site for those seeking a richer life – packed with fun and easy to understand articles, eBooks and videos on how to make money, save money and manage your money wisely.

We specialise in ways for people to make money and we now even have a way that readers can immediately make money just from visiting the site and doing a few activities. Magpie Money gives readers points for browsing the site, commenting on articles, doing surveys and downloading ebooks. These points can be redeemed for £5 Amazon vouchers.

Founded in 2007 by money-making expert, journalist and TV personality Jasmine Birtles, well-known for her appearances on popular day-time TV & radio shows and through her columns as a print journalist.

MoneyMagpie has become a major and trusted online destination with over 2,500 money articles across a broad range of financial topics from how to make money, save money and manage your money wisely.

Readers around the UK learn how to make the most of their money and to supplement their day-to-day incomes.

The site is completely free to use, and we are pleased to welcome new readers on a daily basis.

As well as a large section on how to make money, MoneyMagpie has a section on how to save money and one on how to manage your money. Here are the sub-sections under those headings:

Unlike other money experts, the people behind MoneyMagpie believe that riches are not just about piles of cash, they are about a quality of life, freedom and simplicity. This is why MoneyMagpie spearheaded the national Clear Your Clutter campaign in 2016 and will continue to run it each year.

The Clear Your Clutter campaign encourages people in Britain to think about what is important in their lives, to think big and have what is genuinely valuable in life while discarding what is tacky, temporary and wasteful, and to make a profit.

The ethos behind MoneyMagpie is that we live in a land of plenty, that there is enough for all and that whatever income you are on, there are always ways to have a rich life…often without money.

HOW WE ARE FUNDED

MoneyMagpie.com is funded by partner banner advertising and affiliate marketing to help cover our running costs. But we choose our adverts carefully – we only include products which we think are genuinely good. We also look into everything we advertise to make sure it’s legitimate – so you won’t find any scams on our site.

Do we make a profit? We’re hoping to one day!

Want to advertise with us?

Of course you do. Why wouldn’t you?

Just ring us on 020 7993 6280 or email [email protected]

Check out our Advertising page for more info on rates etc.
