Britain’s Greatest Palace goes all out for Christmas 2026, running 13th November 2026 – 3rd January 2027. Now in its tenth year, the Illuminated Trail winds through Blenheim Palace grounds after dark, with over a million lights, shimmering waterfalls and twinkling treetops, plus a glimpse of Father Christmas along the way. New surprises have been added for 2026, set to a soundtrack of seasonal songs.

Inside, the State Rooms are reimagined as the fairy tale world of Cinderella, designed by a BAFTA award-winning team. Visitors walk through a larger-than-life storybook, past rooms dressed in mistletoe and baubles, to a glass-slipper ending fit for a palace.

The Great Skate returns for a third year, with real ice in a covered rink set within the Palace’s historic Great Court, the facade of the UNESCO World Heritage Site as its backdrop.

The Blenheim Palace Christmas Market runs 13th November – 20th December 2026, a regular fixture in top 10 best UK seasonal market lists, bringing together hand-picked gifts from independent designers and craftspeople alongside seasonal food and drink. For something extra, the Orangery Restaurant serves a Cinderella-themed ‘Happy Ever Afternoon Tea’, with savoury dishes, freshly baked scones and Cinderella-themed sweet treats.

Competition entry is only open to residents of the United Kingdom mainland aged 18 years or older. No purchase necessary.
Prize is supplied by Blenheim Palace.
The competition is not open to employees (and their families) of the Promoter MoneyMagpie or partner Blenheim Palace, their agents or related third parties who are directly connected with the administration of the competition.
The Promoter will not be responsible for lost or late competition entries.
Only one entry per person is permitted for the duration of the competition. Multiple entries by the same individual (including but not limited to use of multiple email addresses) will be considered void and will result in disqualification.
The winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge and will be notified via email or telephone. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering the competition you consent to being communicated to by the Promoter and the company offering the prize. Following such notification, the winner will be required to send the Promoter full details of their postal address to which the prize will be delivered (if applicable) and contact number. You consent to your details being passed onto the company offering the prize so it can be sent out.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any material associated with the competition, as well as their entry.
If the Promoter cannot: (a) contact the winner (via the details provided at the date of entry) within 5 working days or (b) the winner does not return details of its postal address to the Promoter within 10 days of notification that they have won the Prize, the Promoter will re-draw a new winner until a winner on these terms is found.
