MoneyMagpie founder Jasmine Birtles said: “It really doesn’t feel much in the greater scheme of things, but if it helps a few people then we are more than happy to step in. We have had a record number of people writing in and asking us how to access quick cash, and in reality there aren’t many ways that are safe to the consumer. Therefore, we just wanted to offer them a chance. We are strongly against gambling so didn’t want our readers to go there, therefore it’s simply cash.’
We will get the money to you in the form of PayPal or an Amazon Voucher.
So, as stated above, for your chance to get your hands on a tenner, just answer ‘what would you spend an extra tenner on this month?’ in the comments below. The comments will close at midnight on January 30, 2025.
We will notify the winners on Feburary 1, 2025 in hope of making their winter that bit cosier.
Good luck. We look forward to hearing your answers.
I’d put it towards buying an air fryer. All my friends and family have one and rave about how much it’s saving them in electricity. Problem is they’re quite expensive to buy in the first place, but with a good Autumn deal and an extra £10 I’d feel less guilty about splashing out and buying one.
I would like to cook a whole roast dinner so this would go to my electricity bill to enable me to have the cooker on for long enough.
I’d treat my wife to a Greggs. Who said romance is dead!
I’ve bought a slow cooker , in the hope of making some delicious autumn stews and saving money . I would buy a slow cooker recipe book
My daughter has just started secondary school in year 7 – school is expensive! I would put it towards her school supplies!
I would like an extra £10 so that I can turn the heating on a little earlier to ensure I stay warm this winter.
I would start my Christmas shopping!
I’ve taken up baking recently so I’d spend it on some cake tins.
I’d buy myself a huge bar of chocolate and devour it over several days
I’d buy a couple of Lottery tickets – normal Lotto, Euromillions, and Set For Life – with the hope that at least one of them would make a return in excess of the £10 stake gambled! Who knows it could come up trumps!
