Usually amazon only charge for items after they dispatch them, but for some reason they charged me for a whole order when sending an incomplete one. I have an email with the original invoice in and my credit card shows the payment taken. Then for some reason, when I went to check my order status they have actually changed it to remove the item I didn’t get but have changed the invoice to show I owe MORE. On top of that I now have a large sum pending that I know I didn’t spend. For now I am waiting till the pending thing clarifies but it really looks like my account has got messed up somehow, and it seems really hard to find how to contact them.
What’s the best way to get in touch with them please?April 22, 2020 at 09:52 #150979Marc CrosbyKeymasterHow annoying! It can be tricky to get hold of a human being, but try here – https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/contact-us
There’s a bot you can ask questions to and hopefully, if that can’t solve the issue, they’ll put you through to a person. I have got through before, so it is possible, but it can take some persistence!

If it’s still showing as incorrect after that time, you can raise the issue. If you ordered via a Seller, you’ll need to raise the issue with the seller first before Amazon will be able to help you. If you go to My Orders > View Orders, you’ll see the options next to the order. If it says ‘Contact Seller’, you’ll need to click that to write an email to the seller.
The chat bot is supremely helpful – 99% of the time I’ve had to use it, I’ve gone through to a Real Human Being and had email conversations back-and-forth with them to get stuff sorted out. Good luck!
