Why you must say no to vaccine passports

Yes seriously, vaccine passports (or digital passports) could destroy your life. They could stop you doing normal day-to-day activities, make you lose your money, stop you getting health insurance and certainly curtail your ability to travel, get work and enjoy the freedom that is your right.

Vaccine passports are not just about Covid, or even about health. They’re about surveillance of people like you and I on an ongoing basis. They represent what the Chinese call a ‘social credit’ system. In their system, citizens have to demonstrate good behaviour to receive the things we, in the West, take as our basic human rights: privacy, freedom of movement, good governance and so on.

These digital tracking apps mean that both good and bad people and organisations all over the world will potentially know every personal detail about us including ALL of our health details, our financial situation, our credit record, our police record and more.  We are already familiar with systems being hacked.  Fortunately, these systems are not yet combined into one government controlled application.  What a convenience for hackers to attack one system to reveal all private data; and what a disaster for us!

Vaccine passports for Covid are the thin end of the wedge. Don’t imagine they will stick at just your Covid vaccination status. These so-called ‘passports’ will have much more on them before the end of the year.

Why governments really want to bring in vaccine passports

They are calling it a vaccine passport, telling us it’s to keep us all safe and make sure that we don’t spread the virus at work or when travelling abroad.

But, as this excellent article by former Pfizer executive Dr Mike Yeadon explains, the ‘passport’ is actually a “digital common-format, globally-interoperable ID system with an editable health flag (vaccinated Y or N)”.

It’s a digital ID system that governments around the world (and particularly their spy agencies) would love to impose on all of us to control us and know every tiny detail about us at all times.

You won’t be surprised to know that China, the leading global digital dictatorship, has already weaponised these authoritarian devices. Many Chinese citizens already have digital passports on their smartphones, just as they already pay for everything through their smartphones.

Everywhere these people go, everything they do, everything they spend is watched and monitored by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). If they do something that the CCP doesn’t like – such as criticising the party for anything or speaking out for freedom and democracy – then they are prevented from travelling, from buying train tickets, from having a good job and even from socialising with people they used to be friends with, thanks to their Social Credits system.

And don’t forget about the ‘smart’ products in our lives.  Did you use up too much energy on your smart meter this month? Down goes the social credit score?  In China, people who cheat on harmless smartphone games, like chess, also lose social credit points!  We cannot underestimate the potential for abuse once all these systems come into alignment under one digital id system.

What will ultimately be on your vaccine passport?

The underlying idea of a vaccine passport is that it is a way to get us to accept a digital ID which will have everything about us on it.

This is the idea of the Chinese IDs and also the Israeli ones where you are required to show it in order to access normal services like going into shops and getting a job. Israelis realising the dangers of this “green” passport apartheid system, see it for what it is as you will gather in this four minute video clip.

Ultimately the goal for these ‘passports’ is for ALL of your medical details to go on it, not just whether you happen to have had one of the Covid vaccines. It will have

• All your medical data (probably linking up the ID system with the NHS online records)
• Your financial information (again, linking it up with the open banking digital system)
• Your credit record (easily done by b ringing in information from Experian, Equifax and the like)
• Your police record
• Your employment status
• Your social credit score (this seems outlandish but it is what China is already running and Western governments are keen to introduce it into our countries too.  Indeed, the IMF has already published white papers on adding social scores to financial scores to help lenders decide on your credit worthiness.)
• Your education credentials
• Home ownership

Again, be very clear in your own mind that vaccine passports are not just a temporary fix to help us travel. They are a back door for digital ID’s to be introduced into the country.

If we accept vaccine passports then we will be accepting a new, UK-wide digital dictatorship.

 

How vaccine passports underpin an authoritarian regime

The point of a digital ID is to enable governments, and international spy agencies, to monitor everything we do, everywhere we go, everyone we interact with and everything we spend.

It’s connected to the new digital currency that is currently being suggested by our government and a number of other governments around the world. You can see here why a national digital currency is a terrible idea and would be part of the new digital dictatorship. Not surprisingly, China already has one of those! Increasingly, it seems to me, an easy way to determine whether something is a terrible, inhuman, authoritarian idea is to see whether China is doing it. If they are, ..then it’s likely to be a bad idea!

You only need to see what is happening in Israel (where, by the way, there are many people trying to fight against the new surveillance state), to work out how vaccine passports – or digital IDs – are very quickly used to control the populace and make us comply with the government’s demands rather than to live a free and open life.

As this excellent (and worrying) article on Wired explains, already authoritarian regimes like China, Russia and the Saudi countries  “are working to splinter the internet, collect and localize data, and impose regimes of surveillance and control. Digital ID systems, as they are being developed today, are ripe for exploitation and abuse, to the detriment of our freedoms and democracies.”

The idea of digital ID’s, which vaccine passports will morph into, is to classify and segregate citizens in a way that Big Tech and Big Government will be able to decide who does what and who is allowed to go where.

We have already seen how our government was considering vaccine passports to allow us – or not – to go to a pub or restaurant. As mentioned already, Israel’s digital ID system is allowing or preventing people even to go to the supermarket.

As this article rightly points out, vaccine passports will be around long after the Covid threat has passed away.

 

How vaccine passports are already very easy to hack

And it’s not just governments, spy agencies and Big Tech that will have access to your most private details 24/7 through your new Digital ID,

Terrorist and criminal organisations around the world will be able to hack into your account at any time of the day or night to find out your personal details, your health situation, your police record and your finances in order to take as much as they can from you.

Think of how many hacks happen every day. Some of them are really big hacks like the one that disabled the oil pipeline in America recently (called the ‘Solar Winds’ breach). Also there have been major attacks on Twitter and other large social media platforms plus North Korea’s attack on the Sony corporation in retaliation for a film they didn’t like! Anyone can get passwords, credit card numbers and a whole host of other useful private information on the Dark Web…for a price.

In fact, this already happened!  Ten years ago, India created the Aadhaar programme (partially funded by Bill Gates) to get its poor on a digital, trackable system.  There is a detailed white paper of lessons learned from Aadhaar’s failure.  But one thing the paper didn’t mention was that the people who were put on the programme had all their personal health and financial data sold on the black market for less than $10 a person.

If you think that cannot happen in the UK, ask yourself what happened when the NHS ‘gave’ our personal health data to Google’s Deep Mind in 2017.  As these academics rightly argue, it was a breach of ethics.  And yet, Deep Mind didn’t destroy our health records and petition correctly.  It apologised…and kept all the data.

There are hackers out there with people backing them who have very deep pockets, including governments that love to hack into companies and national systems of countries they don’t like. Any digital system that is interconnected is open to attack.

The idea of a digital ID, or vaccine passport, is that those who have one will be allowed to ‘live’ (travel, get jobs, go to the pub, go to sporting and cultural events) and those who don’t won’t be allowed to do those things.

You might think that that’s fair enough as you don’t want to be near ‘the great unvaccinated’ as you might catch something from them. (Although this assumption is medically incorrect).

The reasoning forgets about these concerns:

• People with health conditions who are not able to be vaccinated for medical reasons.
• People who have researched the experimental nature of mRNA vaccines and decided that it is harmful to their health and could even kill them?
• People with deeply held religious reasons?
• People cannot afford it if something goes wrong.  As you may know, the vaccine is experimental and the vaccine manufacturers are immune from financial liability.  If your insurance doesn’t cover experimental treatments, you may be out of pocket if you or a family member suffers a vaccine related injury.
• Our children and young people who have pretty much 0% chance of dying from Covid but could be harmed by taking the experimental vaccine early in their lives?

There are many good reasons why normal, sensible people are not taking the vaccine. Is it right that they should be cut out of normal life because of it, particularly those who can’t have it for medical reasons?

One friend, who asked not to be named, is unable to have the vaccine for medical reasons. She says: “I am allergic to vaccines and this means that, if vaccine passports are needed for events or to travel, I could be excluded from such things. As with disability, handling exceptions is always an afterthought, so while processes may eventually be put in place, it will inevitably fall to those excluded to advocate for inclusion in policies – and we all know that, when the public has to advocate for themselves, the final provisions are only ever compromise and not inclusive.”

The best antibodies are the ones from the virus itself. If you’ve had the disease you should be ‘covered’ for up to 17 years. Frankly, people who have had that should get their own ‘golden passport’ without any vaccine!

The vaccine passport juggernaut seems to be unstoppable right now, as so many governments want to impose it and the technology is already being used in different parts of civil life.

However, the main element that enables them to impose vaccine passports – or Digital ID’s – on us is our willingness to allow them to do it.

If we stand up against it, they will not be able to do it.

We need to take positive action against it to stop them foisting this bastion of totalitarian regimes on us, on our children, and on our grandchildren.

I know it sounds like very little but if enough of us bombard our MPs with emails, calls and letters of complaint about this then at least some of them will have to take notice.

Find out your MPs contact details here and write to them (regularly if you can) telling them:

• That you are aware that they want to introduce vaccine passports but that this is very wrong and could usher in a totalitarian regime
• That it would be medical apartheid where those who are not vaccinated for whatever reason cannot access some of the activities and services that have always been their right
• That you are aware that vaccine passports are just the beginning and that they will later morph into full-blown Digital ID’s which would enable your health and other details to be accessed by many individuals and agencies that you don’t to have access to them
• That vaccine passports infringe on your human rights (see below), that they are unnecessary for a disease that has a 0.3% mortality rate and that essentially forces individuals to submit to a medical procedure that is still in the experimental phase.

Add in anything else that you think is relevant and don’t take ‘no’ for an answer!

Keep saying no to a vaccine passport, whether you are vaccinated or not. At the moment they cannot force us to have one, although they may do soon.

The more we refuse, the harder it will be for them to force us into a digital dictatorship.

You may remember from history lessons that the Nazi doctors in Germany performed medical experiments on citizens, particularly twins, triplets and gipsy children, without any permission from them or their parents. In concentration camps, such as Buchenwald, prisoners had to have experimental vaccines for diseases like typhoid fever. It was essentially medical tyranny and, rightly, after the war the Nuremberg trials pointed to this behaviour as particularly evil and something that should never be done again.

The ‘Nuremberg Code’ states that no one should be forced into any medical procedure against their will. This includes being forced to take a vaccine.  This means we should not be forced to have a vaccine passport.

It also means that employers may not force people to take the vaccine in order to do their job. This hasn’t stopped a lot of employers demanding that employees have the vaccine – particularly in healthcare – but more and more employees are refusing, particularly doctors and nurses.

Of course governments and employers say, quite rightly, that they are not ‘forcing’ anyone to take an experimental injection. But if someone is denied a job, travel or even access to a supermarket unless they can prove they have been vaccinated then this amounts to coercion.

If you feel really strongly about this, look up your local MP’s contact details here, and send them an email and/or a letter about it. Here is a template letter you could use quickly:

I’m writing to express my concern about the Government’s plans to impose vaccine passports on the population.

This seems to me to be a back door into Digital ID’s and is, therefore, a very worrying plan for the country. Digital ID’s would help to enable authoritarian rule in the United Kingdom, where citizens are monitored and surveilled even more than they currently are.

This is something that I consider you should fight against any time it is mooted in parliament. An actual passport to show that people have had two Covid vaccinations is entirely unnecessary in my opinion. Tests to check that one is Covid-free for certain activities would be much more relevant. It would also bring in medical apartheid where those who can’t have the jab, or consider that it is wrong or dangerous to have it, would be cut out of normal life.

I am also very worried about the other information that is planned to be included in this ‘passport’ such as  financial information, convictions mental health status and other health information. The fact that Ministers are even considering including this kind of information is absolutely shocking and totally anti-democratic, anti-freedom and against my human rights.

Don’t forget that just a few years ago the Government completely dropped the idea of imposing an identity card on British people. I urge that this Government immediately drops the idea of a so-called vaccine passport or Digital ID’s.
