Love Cider?
Love Rugby?
If you answered yes to both of those questions, you’ll love this job.
Gallagher Premiership team, Bath Rugby has partnered with Thatchers to recruit a cider ‘taste’ officer for its annual event, The Clash, at Twickenham on the 6th of April.
Well, it’s pretty self-explanatory. You’ll be tasked with taste-testing cider before it’s served to the public. Rugby fans will look to you to confirm the taste is to Thatchers’ high level of standard.
Bath Rugby and Thatchers want to make sure you’re safe and responsible. So you will be required to take regular water breaks to rehydrate, eat and watch parts of the game. Obviously you will not be authorised to drive after the event, so alternate travel must be prearranged!
Game day gates open for pre-match entertainment at 11am, with the game kicking-off at 2pm. The ‘taste’ officers, aka you, will need to arrive at 10:30am and will be on shift for just a few hours. This mean you can still watch the game. After that you can head to the West Fan Village to enjoy the rest of your evening. Sounds pretty good so far?
You will need to be 18 years old or over, be passionate about cider and have a love for rugby – no other prior experience is required, and of course you will get free entry to the event.
Also, most importantly, you need to be available on the day of the game, April 6th!
A flat rate of £200!
Last year, more than 61,000 supporters enjoyed a spectacular family day out. It was full of entertainment and live music, headlined by West Country stalwarts, The Wurzels. Thatchers Cider and Bath Ales were available for those keen for a refreshing local tipple, alongside the best of the west food stalls.
What are you waiting for?
Sounds like a great opportunity.
