I’ll never shop Amazon’s Black Friday deals again without checking this little-known discount page first

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Black Friday is almost here, and while everyone is hunting for the biggest Amazon deals, there’s one little-known page I wouldn’t dream of shopping without checking first.

Because here’s the thing about Black Friday: just because something has a big discount splashed across it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the lowest possible price.

Amazon has a dedicated discount voucher page that many shoppers may never think to visit. And with Black Friday falling on 27 November 2026, it could be one of the most useful money-saving tricks to have up your sleeve.

Better still, this isn’t just a Black Friday trick. It’s something you can use throughout the year, whether you’re buying Christmas presents, stocking up on household essentials or simply replacing something you’ve run out of.

The Amazon discount page worth bookmarking

Amazon has a dedicated vouchers page where you can browse products with extra discounts available. Some offers require you to collect a voucher or tick a small box before the saving is applied.

You may need to sign into your Amazon account. Offers and eligibility can vary.

Why this Amazon discount trick is so easy to miss

When you’re shopping online, it’s natural to look at the price, decide whether it’s a good deal and head straight to checkout.

But on some Amazon listings, there’s another step that could save you money.

Look carefully underneath the price and you might spot a small voucher message offering a percentage discount or a fixed amount off. You may need to tick the box or collect the voucher for the saving to apply.

It’s easy to overlook, particularly when you’re in a hurry or distracted by a sale countdown.

Here’s the trick

Before buying anything on Amazon, check the product listing for a voucher, then visit the dedicated vouchers page to see what’s available. If you collect an offer, make sure the discount actually appears in your checkout total.

What can you save money on?

Amazon’s vouchers change regularly, but there are several categories worth checking, particularly if you’re buying products you already use.

Household essentials

Washing capsules, dishwasher tablets, cleaning sprays and everyday household supplies are a sensible starting point. These are purchases many of us make repeatedly, so even modest savings could be useful.

Beauty and toiletries

Shampoo, skincare, grooming products and electric toothbrush accessories are all worth checking for voucher offers before you pay full price.

Gadgets and accessories

Phone chargers, headphones, power banks and small electronics can be worth investigating, particularly if you’re shopping for presents.

Kitchen and home

From food storage containers to kitchen gadgets and small appliances, it’s worth seeing whether an additional voucher is available before buying.

My favourite way to use this trick

Rather than scrolling through vouchers looking for things to buy, I’d start with my actual shopping list. If I need washing capsules, shampoo or a new phone charger, I’ll check whether there’s a voucher for something suitable. That way, I’m saving money on things I intended to buy anyway.

Browse available Amazon vouchers

Could you get an extra discount on an item that’s already on sale?

Potentially, yes. Some vouchers may be compatible with existing promotional prices, although others cannot be combined with another offer.

For example, imagine a kitchen gadget normally costs £60 but has been reduced to £45. If an eligible 10% voucher applies to the reduced price, you could save another £4.50.

How the savings could add up

Original price: £60

Sale price: £45

Extra 10% voucher: £4.50 off

Final price: £40.50

Total potential saving: £19.50, or 32.5%.

This is an illustrative example, not a verified live deal. Always check whether an individual voucher can be combined with a sale price.

That’s why I think it’s worth taking a few extra seconds to check. An additional discount isn’t guaranteed, but when one is available, it could make a good price even better.

Three things I always check before buying on Amazon

  1. Is there a voucher? Look for a voucher checkbox on the product page and browse Amazon’s dedicated voucher offers.
  2. Is the final price really cheaper? Compare with other retailers and check the total including delivery.
  3. Has it been cheaper before? Use a price-history website such as CamelCamelCamel to see how the Amazon price has changed.

A discount isn’t always a bargain

Just because something is advertised with 20%, 30% or even 50% off doesn’t automatically mean it’s the cheapest option. Check the price history, compare retailers and avoid buying something you don’t need simply because a voucher makes it look tempting.

Can you use Amazon vouchers without Prime?

Yes, some Amazon vouchers are available to eligible shoppers without Prime, although particular promotions may have membership or account restrictions.

You may also need to be signed in to see the offers available to you, and vouchers can expire or have limits on how many times they’re used.

Are Amazon vouchers automatically applied?

Not necessarily. Depending on the promotion, you may have to select a checkbox or collect a voucher before the saving is applied. That’s why it’s worth checking the order summary carefully rather than assuming the advertised discount has been deducted.

Why I’ll be checking this page every time I shop

What I like about this trick is that it doesn’t require a special membership, complicated cashback process or hours spent searching for codes that might not work.

It’s simply another place to look before spending money.

And while the biggest sale events might be when everyone is thinking about discounts, there’s no reason to forget about this page for the rest of the year.

My rule is simple: before I buy anything from Amazon, I’ll check whether there’s another voucher waiting to be claimed.

One page to bookmark before your next Amazon shop

Whether you’re shopping in the sales or buying everyday essentials, check Amazon’s voucher page before heading to the checkout. You might find an extra saving on something you were planning to buy anyway.
