The cinema is a great place for adventure. Film fanatics everywhere flock to see the latest releases. But in the last few years, a trip to the cinema has become a strain on our wallets. That’s why we’ve rounded up all the latest deals and offers for you, so you can save when you go to see your faves on the big screen.

ODEON

£5 tickets

Sign up to myODEON for free to get access to any film from just £5 when you book online at ODEON cinemas. The low-cost tickets are available on all films all day, everyday. Bargain!

This is exclusive to myODEON members, and can only be redeemed when booking online. This price includes an online booking fee of £1, however additional upgrades such as seat and format upgrades will cost extra. Price does not apply to special screenings and events.

This great deal is only available in select locations. Check here to see if your local ODEON cinema is included.

Up to 60% off with myODEON

Sign up for a free myODEON account to get great deals on tickets and exclusive discounts. It’s free to sign up, and offers great discounts all day on Mondays, as well as offers on selected screenings from Tuesday to Sunday.

You can get the best deals when you book online however you can get great discounts in person at the box office, too. Look for the yellow myODEON Saver banner on select times and days when booking to get the best deals. The myODEON savings will be applied to all tickets in your booking, too!

Screen Unseen

With ODEON Screen Unseen, you are able to watch highly-acclaimed, pre-release films from just £6. But there’s a catch: you won’t know which film you’re seeing until the cinema lights go down. If you don’t mind surprises, are a film buff or simply want a nice day out, Screen Unseen could be perfect for you.

With a myODEON account, tickets are £6 when booked online, or £7 when you pay at the box office. Without a free membership, tickets are £7 when booked online, and £8 when bought in-cinema. Find out more here.

Adults pay kids prices

Children aged 14 and under can get £2.50 tickets on selected screenings with myODEON and accompanying adults will pay the same! Those with a myODEON account who book at the box office in person will pay £3 so it’s always best to book online. Those without a myODEON membership will be charged £3.25 when booking online, and £3.75 in person.

These prices apply to select movies and screenings, which change every week. Those labelled ‘Odeon Kids’ will allow the discounts for kids and adults going together.

myLIMITLESS membership

If you are a big film lover and go often to see the latest releases, it may be worth getting a myLIMITLESS membership card from ODEON. From £14.99 per month, you can see all the films you want as many times as you’d like. It’s essentially a passport to all the movies shown at ODEON, taking you on endless thrilling adventures and excitement . It’s truly limitless.

ODEON Silvers

Those over the age of 60 can get great discounts and deals at ODEON cinemas. At ODEON Silvers, you can enjoy screenings at quieter times of the day, including new releases and timeless classics. Tickets start at just £3.50, and you get sweet treats of biscuits and a nice cup of tea before the film starts with this included in the price!

Cineworld

Unlimited membership

For less than the price of two cinema tickets per month, you can enjoy Cineworld Unlimited. If you are a film fanatic and want to see all the newest releases on the big screen, this may be a more cost-effective way to see all of your faves, as many times as you want!

Plus, you’ll get 10% off snacks and drinks this goes up to 25% off after 12 months as a member, too! Other benefits include 25% off your total bill at Cineworld’s restaurant partners Bella Italia, Cafe Rouge and Las Iguanas.

You can also enjoy the celeb treatment, with exclusive member screenings before general release. You’ll also get 50% off special event screenings, such as the opera, ballet or West End show streams. Find out more here.

Tesco Clubcard deals

If you have a Tesco Clubcard, take a lookout what cinema deals are available to you. You can exchange Clubcard Points Vouchers for Cineworld and Picturehouse Cinema tickets. Plus, get double the value than you would in-store at Tesco 50p in vouchers becomes £1 to use on cinema tickets. You can also use these points towards a Cineworld Unlimited membership.

Adults pay kids prices

Discounted weekly screenings bring you all the family favourites for just £2.50 per ticket for kids and adults! Experience the magic of movies with the whole family. Family tickets allow up to four people (two adults max) to enjoy discounted cinema. A family ticket also allows up to 30% off sweet treats and movie snacks, too!

If there aren’t enough of you to get a family ticket, Cineworld Juniors allows you to take your child to selected screenings for just £2.50 and you pay the same price. Find out more here.

CineSeniors

Every Wednesday, over-60s can enjoy special screenings for just £4.50 per ticket. You’ll get to enjoy your film with complimentary biscuits and hot drinks, and meet new people in the community.

Simply select your local cinema and the date you would like to visit, then select the relevant screening to book. CineSeniors is only available in select Cineworld cinemas. Find out more here.

Three Mobile deals

If you’re a Three Mobile customer and love the cinema, you’re in luck! Every week, you can claim one code which allows you to buy a cinema ticket for just £3 from Friday to Sunday. Book online in advance or in person at the cinema. Please note, you will be charged a 75p booking fee with online bookings.

My Cineworld Plus

My Cineworld Plus is different from Cineworld Unlimited. It’s a paid-for upgrade to the free My Cineworld account. The My Cineworld Plus upgrade lasts for 12 months and during that time you’ll receive a 10% discount on the price of all cinema tickets booked online through your My Cineworld Plus account. 

It’s just £6.95 for a year and gives you £6 worth of complimentary food and drink and the ability to make free cancellations. Find out more here.

Vue

Adults pay kids prices

Vue’s ‘Mini Mornings’ allow you to buy tickets for just £2.49 and adults pay the same price. Mini Morning sessions run every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am, and every single day in the school holidays. Vue membership

Vue members can get free refunds when they cancel a booking, meaning you don’t lose out on money. Members also get freebies and unlock great rewards, including free ticket upgrades and snacks. The best part? It’s free to join! Join here.

Priority

Are you an O2 or Virgin Media customer? You can get two Vue tickets for just £9! Plus, get 20% off food and non-alcoholic drinks. You can use your ticket any day, in any Vue location, within seven days of issue. Find out more here.

Showcase

You can save a nice chunk of cash on cinema tickets at Showcase cinemas when you join Showcase Insider. With a free membership, you can watch all the latest blockbusters from just £7.50 all day Monday and Tuesday. You’ll also be invited for pre-release screenings. Picturehouse

Picturehouse Cinemas are owned by Cineworld. Some of the offers are the same cross-location, but some are not. With a Picturehouse membership, you can enjoy free tea and coffee on weekdays until 5pm, the occasional free screening, 10% off food and drink (which increases to 20% off after a year of membership), and loads more! You can find out all about Picturehouse membership here.

Tastecard

Tastecard members can enjoy some fab deals on cinema. You can get discounted tickets at Vue, ODEON and Cineworld. However, deals and offers vary by location, and each cinema has different terms and conditions. If you’re a Tastecard member, head to the app to find out which offers are available near you.

Kids Pass

Those with a Kids Pass membership can get up to 30% off cinema trips. Try it now for just £1 for 30 days, and save on all your days out.

Lidl Plus

Lidl Plus members can register with The Cinema Society and redeem vouchers for up to 40% off cinema tickets across a range of venues including Vue, ODEON and Showcase. Simply sign into the Lidl Plus app and select Partner Offers. From here, you will be able to find this deal. Valid until October 4, 2023. Find out more here.

CEA Card

If you need extra assistance at the cinema, or have a disability, it’s worth checking out the CEA Card. it costs just £6 per year, and allows you to get a free cinema ticket for a friend to accompany you to the cinema. To be eligible, you will need to be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Armed Forces Independence Payment.
