Nug Life! Here’s some great news for chicken nugget fans: McDonald’s are celebrating their 40th anniversary by offering free Chicken McNuggets to customers, and you’re encouraged to bring a fellow ‘nug lifer’ to share the joy.

THE MCNUGGETWORTHY EXPERIENCE

McDonald’s will kick off their birthday celebrations for the fan-favourite menu item later this month with a huge event known as #McNuggetWorthy: The Experience, which will take place at a ‘London location’ – yet to be revealed – on 30th/31st May.

WIN A MCNUGGET VAN VISIT

If you don’t fancy joining the party, there’s also the possibility of winning the opportunity to have the McNugget Van at your party this summer, and the McDonald’s team are also giving away freebies on their app.

The third and final chance to win some free chicken nuggets can also be done via the McDonald’s app, with a second competition to win 4,000 in McDonald’s Reward Points – which you can use to redeem six free McNuggets. You’ll have to be fast though, because only the first 50,000 entrants will receive the 4,000 reward points, and the competition closes on 23rd May.

A NEW BURGER MENU

Earlier this month, the chain also revealed that it will be launching a new burger set this month, including the new Spicy Big Tasty from 10th May: a Big Tasty burger with a fiery kick, 100% beef patty, wcheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the Big Tasty sauce… updated with a jalapeño twist!

If all that spice is a little too jazzy for you, the classic Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon are back, along with some new dipping sauces: four new limited edition dips, with the Mega Hot Sauce dip and the Garlic Mayo dip coming from 10th May.

So, plenty of opportunities not just to grab some of free chicken nuggets but also sample some great new McDonald’s food.
