The MoneyMagpie Messageboards are a place to share your money concerns, tips and advice, with the opportunity to get feedback from other members as well as vetted experts. You can also find and share competitions to give you a better chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
It’s easy to use, but let us talk you through the basics…
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to sign up.
When you load up the Messageboard, you’ll see a log in box on the right-hand side. If you haven’t already, click register and sign up.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to ensure you’re logged in to leave a comment or create a new topic.
If you have a question, or want to start a new conversation, you’ll need to create a topic in the appropriate forum. Let’s say, for example, you want to share a brand new competition you found online.
First, click on the appropriate forum, in this case ‘Competitions and freebies’. Then scroll down towards the bottom of the page.
Type in the topic title and your post, then click ‘submit’. Please note you should check the forum to make sure there isn’t a thread on the exact same topic already.
If you want to reply to an existing topic, simply click on the topic, scroll down through the comments and leave your response, before clicking ‘submit’.
If you want to quote something already posted in a thread, choose the comment you want to reply to and click ‘quote’:
You can then type your comment below what you’re quoting:
To check what topics and replies you’ve posted, you can scroll through them by clicking on the left-hand side here. You can also keep a track of your favourite or most interesting threads using the ‘favourites’ tool:
You can subscribe to particular threads to receive email notifications and updates on new replies, comments and questions:
