If you have seen the images of clear water in Venice and Deer in city streets, or realised you can now hear songbirds, then you may be one of the many people who is thinking ‘can we keep and expand on the respite for nature that has happened during this awful time?’
Yes you can. If you have a safe job, then start with your workplace environment policy. Do they have one? Can employees make suggestions? If not, can a department group get together and make suggestions? – an environment policy should be always moving forward and so they should be glad of the ideas. There are so many ideas online, start with the basics, recycling, no single use plastics, and move on!
Love this idea, Melanie!
Looking to preserve some of the respite nature has had would be a nice way for something good to come out of this awful time.
Great idea here!
Do you also think that, as everyone gets used to working from home at the moment, employers will be more open to remote or flexible working after it’s all over? Reducing the number of commuters would certainly help cut pollution!
