Investing an inheritance in Property or Savings Account?

Dear MoneyMagpie Team,

I recently inherited £60,000 from my Nan after she passed away. I really want to put it towards a property on my first home but at the moment the market isn’t great and I have quite a low salary. Is buying a property a good idea right now with Brexit coming up in January? I would save the money but interest rates are so low I don’t know what to do! Please can you suggest anything? Thank you.
