Reply To: How is home working suiting you?

I’ve found it definitely has ups and downs.

It’s obviously nice to have no commute, and to wear slightly more comfortable clothing. To be honest, I do think I’ve been a bit more productive – I chat to colleagues more than I realised!

But I do miss the social aspect of the office, getting to see people regularly. It’s also annoying because what used to be a quick pop along the office for a simple question now has to either be an email (and a potentially lengthy wait) or a whole meeting.

Probably would find it easier working from home if I could go out somewhere afterwards…struggling with no pub! But I certainly hope I can keep working from home at least a few days a week when all this is over.
