Coinbase warning

Anyone thinking of using coinbase.com beware. They have just ‘lost’ a large deposit I made from my uk bank account 2 days ago which never appeared in my coinbase account. My bank has confirmed their bank accepted the payment as soon as it was sent but they claim not to be able to find it. Their customer service is abysmal and they are now not even bothering to reply to my emails. Absolutely disgusting.

Recent posts on trust pilot indicate that I am not the only one this has happened to.

I am pursuing this through my bank but meanwhile would warn everybody NOT to use them. I certainly never will again

thank you for letting us know about this. We will speak to Coinbase about it and see what they have to say.

I have been using Coinbase for a few years and haven’t had a problem but I will certainly see if i can get a response about this.

We’ve spoken to one of our contacts at Coinbase and they’ve said:

‘We recommend the user to visit the support page and address their concern there.’

Could you let us know how you get on? We can try and chase this up again if need be.
