do the local councils have duty of care to people who live there?
im terminally ill and need carers, i thought the local council had a duty of care to help care for us or help us find private carers to do it. my local council carers have gotten rid of everyone bar me in my area off their books. they are trying to get rid of us too.
we cant afford to go private. the local council dose assessments to determine what care we need. and how much it costs. we pay a hell of a lot in care considering i live off benefits. and they want rid of us/ want us to go private which we cant afford. can they force us like that? or do they have duty of care to us?
im guessing its different in each country. im in scotland.
