I have a relative with a chronic illness that unfortunately means sometimes they are unable to work at all for short periods. If this occurs in the near future, will this stop them being furloughed? And will they move onto sick pay instead?
Yeah this is very true. When speaking to friends and family as well it seems that everyone misses the little things like going for a coffee or having a couple of drinks in a pub garden. Fingers crossed this will all be back to normal ASAP.
Thanks for your info Sam. It’s hard to know when things will be going back to normal but I’m glad to hear that hospitality is expected to bounce back from this at some point.
