Definitely, tackling COVID and making sure everyone is as safe as possible it the priority, but I had a couple of things in mind for September-ish time and curious how things will be then, as it all changes so quick.
I also have close friends and family over in Ireland – I’m not expecting to make a long haul trip anytime soon but in the next few months will short distance flights be viable and safe?
Thanks – hopefully might stand a chance of a partial refund, especially if thousands of other students have been put in similar situations.
Sam – I haven’t been officially furloughed, just had all my hours cut as the business closed so a bit of a tough one.
Annie – Thanks for the advice, will get in touch with them and see if I can get furloughed by them.
Hi Annie & Sam – I have exams but no virtual lectures online so am losing out on a semester worth of teaching so just wandered if there would be a partial rebate for that. I have now had a letter though from university saying I can apply to cancel my halls contract which I have done so so hopefully that all works out. Thanks!
