Thanks for letting us know. We definitely noticed it on one particular post and worked with our developer to understand how it was posted. It’s nothing to be alarmed about! We’re working to remove it.
There are plenty of other forums to partake so we’ll do our best to take care of it from the back end.
On the watercooler chat, feel free to just open up about any general questions you’ve got, to do with lifestyle, general chit chat, or even asking for people’s advice beyond finance and guides 🙂
Hope this clears a couple of things up!
Just spotted this article from Forbes on the pros and cons on working from home, and now that we’re well into a routine and some businesses are thinking about opening back up, what are you feeling works best?
Our weekly comment winner of last week was @Paul-Page with his excellent question on whether his collectible James Bond stamps have value, and we’d say definitely in terms of their input to pop culture!
You can check out his question here ➡️
This thread is intended for the MoneyMagpie team, we’re going to be posting weekly recommendations of content being published as and when.
Don’t worry, but hearing what articles have been most useful to you would also be fun!
Thanks, Team MM

Thanks for your feedback. We will work towards implementing a specific search tool, including keywords. And we will explore the idea of a date chronology for our most up to date articles..
Thanks and we’re glad to hear we’re so useful during this time.
I’m finding that I’m not really having a place to relax once the ‘working day’ is finished. Don’t really have a desk area so having to work from the living room/dining table which is mildly annoying for the rest of the house. While I don’t miss the act of commuting, I was always grateful to have the time to wake up and get my brain started for the day.
We’re all learning new ways to self-motivate and restore a sense of purpose so it’s a good time for self-reflection…
Our winner for the comment this week is Pamal, who volunteered a couple of great podcasts to another member of our community. Congrats Pamal and you’re receiving a great £5 Amazon voucher!May 28, 2020 at 13:00 in reply to: Become a lockdown fashionista to win £50 LoveCrafts voucher #151602
We’re happy to announce our winner!
Thanks to everyone who entered, we had some extremely creative and inspirational entries and we’re glad you could all show your artistic flairs 🙂
Huge congratulations to Nadine Carruthers for her winning entry of a leather jacket she re-designed at home. We loved the inspiration and design behind the piece, and leather’s extremely hard to work with!
Thanks again and congrats Nadine, from the MM team.
Thanks for your feedback! This is a great suggestion and I’ll start a thread dedicated for our community to suggest more ideas.
There is now a ‘subscribe’ function at the top right of the panel next to the title of the thread, which will enable you to receive email notifications on new replies and questions within a particular thread.
But you can also ‘favourite’ a particular thread to keep up to date with the latest replies, including your own started threads.
Hope this helps
Claire, it was our pleasure! You’re absolutely right, they will never be forgotten and we will always be thankful for the work all frontline workers have done during covid-19. Glad we could help out…
Love, team MoneyMagpie.
The furlough scheme was extended last week to October, but I’m worried about finding a new job during this time. Are other people also looking or hoping to get back to their previous jobs?
The past 2 months are the only times I’ve come within my Monzo budget – really cut down on unnecessary coffee trips and expensive after work run ins to the shop. But now that lockdown has eased I feel the old habits might come crawling back…
