Feed a family. As the Cost of Living Crisis continues to dominate the news, so ASDA has created a meal deal plan that will feed a family of four for just £20 a week. 

The seven-day plan includes meal ideas for each day of the week which not only saves money, but also time on meal planning and supermarket shopping trategies. 

What’s included in the ASDA meal deal? 

The ASDA Just Essentials ‘7 for £20’ deal includes a week’s worth of ingredients for a family of four, with meal plans including sausage and mash, frittata and tuna pasta as well as store cupboard essentials like stock cubes, flour and tinned vegetables, plus fresh vegetables, long-life milk and six eggs. 

All you’ll need to make up the rest of the meals is oil, salt and pepper and some mixed herbs. 

 What to fee a family this week for £20

There’s also a handy recipe guide for families to make up the meal suggestions provided for the week: 

  • Monday – Sausage and Mash 
  • Tuesday – Fish Biryani 
  • Wednesday – Fish Pie 
  • Thursday – Bacon and Pea Frittata 
  • Friday – Tuna and Tomato Pasta 
  • Saturday – Chicken Stew and Rice 
  • Sunday – Chicken Pasta 

The recipe guide lists the ingredients, method and nutritional values.
