Let’s save money and make money! It’s officially the beginning of Spring which can only mean one thing… Summer is just around the corner!
But before we get ahead of ourselves there are lots of money making and money saving opportunities in Spring that we should all be taking advantage off.
Take a look below for our list of 30 wise and wonderful ways to make money and save money this Spring.
- March – The month of saving and switching
- April – Forget April showers and shower yourself with gifts
- May – Time to spring clean your finances
- June – Making extra money in your spare time
Although we’re over halfway through March, it’s not too late to make and save money before the end of the month.
Make money with online surveys.
If you have some free time in your lunch break or a spare half an hour in the evenings, why not fill in a few online surveys for cash?
Whilst doing online surveys for money won’t provide you with a steady, substantial income, paid surveys are a great way to make cash for very little effort.
Switch bank account.
Strangely most of us are more likely to get divorced than switch bank account yet switching to a bank account with better offers can actually make you money.
There’s a lot of competition at the moment so it is a great time to make the switch.
SWITCH BROADBAND PROVIDER
One way of de-cluttering your monthly outgoings is to switch internet providers. Many consumers sign up to ‘broadband bundles’ and end up paying for a landline and television package that goes unused. If you don’t use your home-phone to make calls and watch most of your favourite shows on Netflix, doing away with ‘bundles’ and opting for a broadband only package can help de-clutter your bills and save you money.
Many consumers are put off switching internet providers by the thought of being without internet for weeks on end and miss out on significant savings. Relish offers same day delivery (for a one off £20 delivery fee) or free next day delivery, getting you online quickly and hassle free.
Make money from Easter.
Special occasions are always great ways to earn quick cash and Easter is no different.
Easter hampers make a creative yet inexpensive gift for your friends and family – and they can be a good money maker at the same time.
Easter cakes and savoury baskets are also popular to sell at markets and in fairs. Easter is only a few weeks away, so get prepared and give yourself the chance to make a bit of cash out of it here!
Make money dog walking.
Dog walking is a great way to make money on the side and get fit at the same time.
Being a dog walker is as simple as it sounds. You arrange to pick up the animals, take them for a walk and then return them home.
If you love the companionship of dogs but don’t want the responsibility of owning and looking after one full time, dog walking could be the perfect way for you to earn some extra money.
